Team Building

Thank you for giving us this opportunity to present our team building services to you. We are your one source for team building sailing adventures.

We will tailor your team building activity to meet your unique objectives. All of our programs are designed to motivate, to make individuals realise that they have shared goals, and that by working together they can accomplish more than they ever thought they could.

We help them break down interpersonal barriers and preconceived ideas. They'll have the time of their lives doing it. Your team members will come back to work with more confidence, more willing to share creative ideas, more able to complete difficult tasks and to anticipate - and cope with - change and unfamiliar situations.

Our clients run the gamut from major corporations and government agencies to small businesses and non-profit organizations. All will attest that the lessons learned in our team building programs prove invaluable back at work.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide you with the greatest value possible for your team building investment. We accomplish this by presenting team building games, exercises and adventures that are innovative, fun and effective ... for memories and results that last.

Our primary objective is to provide fun and effective team building games, exercises and adventures that meet your objectives.

Sailing requires teamwork and coordination, from the crew and leadership from the skipper – all of these are qualities required in today’s business world and can only contribute to improve the efficiency of your team. Put quite simply, if the team do not work together, the boat will not move. This is not like other 'passive exercises'. With sailing, it's real!

All our courses, whilst not RYA-approved in themselves, are run by RYA-approved skippers and cruising instructors. Certificate of attendance are issued to everyone who successfully completes the course.

This activity demonstrates the benefits of teamwork under pressure in an unfamiliar environment.

Individuals will be trained in specific sailing skills on board cruising yachts of up to 44 feet long. The boats can only sail if these skills are performed in harmony with one another. Several other challenges will be set during the course, followed by group feedback and evaluation after each task.

Activities include:
      - Tacks and gybes
      - Hoisting and lowering sails
      - Reefing
      - Skippers time-trial
      - Retrieving a man overboard
      - Sailing at night and spotting lights and buoys
      - Evacuating a casualty from below deck
